Why We Need Background Location: The WHERE app allows users to record their timeline and share their travel history. Background location is required to ensure seamless tracking without interruptions. This enables users to review their past trips and accurately share location-based experiences.

Google Play Compliance: WHERE follows Google Play’s User Data policy and the Prominent Disclosure & Consent Requirement. We explicitly inform users about background location collection and obtain their affirmative consent before enabling these features.

Note: Users can manage their location preferences anytime through their device settings.
